Our Parish

About St Louis

A Catholic family rooted in Christ, growing in faith and serving Parakuo Estate since 1994.

St. Louis Catholic Church, Parakou Estate, Accra-Ghana is a vibrant Catholic parish rooted in faith, worship, community, and service. Guided by the spirit of unity and our parish motto, “Together We Serve,” St. Louis brings parishioners, families, youth, ministries, and volunteers together to grow in Christ and actively participate in the life of the Church.

Established in 1994 under the patronage of Saint Louis IX of France, our parish has grown from a small community into a thriving Catholic family within the Archdiocese of Accra, welcoming worshippers from across Parakou Estate, Dome and beyond.

The parish is committed to deepening Catholic faith through the celebration of Holy Mass, catechesis, liturgical activities, youth formation, community outreach, and acts of charity. With a strong focus on evangelisation, stewardship, and inclusive participation, St. Louis Catholic Church continues to create a welcoming space where individuals and families can encounter God, serve one another, and contribute meaningfully to the wider Catholic community.

Through both traditional parish life and modern communication platforms, the church seeks to keep its community informed, inspired, and involved, while positioning itself as a mission-driven parish that honours its heritage and embraces the future.
